Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Strive for continual improvement of student success by planning an optimal learning environment, providing high-quality instruction, and engaging in professional development.
• Manage learning environments by ensuring accurate syllabi, maintaining attendance records, submitting grades, and providing feedback.
• Deliver effective instruction by developing rigorous curricula, designing learning activities, and using the College's digital learning solution.
• Enhance the student's learning experience by integrating real-life situations, developing interdisciplinary skills, and collaborating with employers.
• Achieve measurable learning outcomes by assessing student progress and aligning assessments with learning opportunities.
• Promote continual improvement by developing and revising curriculum, participating in research, and sharing best practices.
• Support student learning by creating a positive classroom atmosphere, making students aware of support services, and encouraging collaboration.
• Maintain a learning-centered environment by being available during office hours and supporting students.
• Teach classes based on varied schedules and accept assignments at other sites as necessary.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for diversity and work regular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Complete required training and professional development sessions and comply with college standards, policies, and guidelines.
