Adjunct Instructor: Welding

SUMMARY STATEMENT

Teach credit and continuing education students welding technology, including both textbook theory and hands-on skills. Class will be comprised of both inexperienced students and current welders-in-training. Technologies to be taught include at an entry level: torch cut, plasma cut, and common-metal welding using oxy-fuel, SMAW, MIG, and TIG welding equipment.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Applicant must have at least five years of continuous, full-time experience as a welding practitioner in a fully-equipped welding facility. Formal training experience and/or an AWS welding credentials preferred.
