Job Responsibilities

The Clinical Instructor will be a clinical resource person for the Surgical Technology students and will be responsible for their assignments and clinical evaluations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Preferred: Credentialed surgical technologist with current certification (CST) and relevant clinical experience in the operating room
  • Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures, aseptic technique, instrumentation, and operating room protocols
  • Prior experience working with students in a clinical or educational setting is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to mentor students while ensuring adherence to clinical site policies, accreditation standards, and patient safety requirements

Qualifications

Days and times may vary depending on the semester and clinical schedule. We can be flexible regarding the days/hours the adjunct will work per week.
