The Office of the Provost is seeking applications for an Instructor position in 1 credit integrating seminar associated with the Sophomore Service-Learning Community. The role of the instructor is to ensure that students' reflection is continuous, connected and relevant to the issues in the common syllabus and their work in the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create presentations and lectures based on set curriculum topics.
- Prepare each class with student facilitators prior to the seminar.
- Read and grade weekly essays.
- Attend special events when possible (one each semester).
- Attend one to two instructor meetings each month.
Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education: M.A. in relevant subject area
Salary Posting Information
$1500/semester
