Adjunct Instructor-Reading

About the role

The College seeks to build a pool of qualified individuals to teach assigned Reading classes. Need is for Lincroft, Higher Education Centers, and Freehold Branch Campus - some nights needed but main need is for daytime availability (8 am - 5 pm).

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in subject matter as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Reading or a Master’s degree in a related field (Literacy/ Education) necessary.
• Will consider Master’s in closely related fields with teaching experience in the field of Reading/Language Arts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current learning and reading pedagogy and basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations

• Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
