Adjunct Instructor- Public Speaking

Essential Job Duties

• Organize and teach on-line classes as assigned
• Deliver quality instruction which prepares students for further education and/or the workplace
• Manage the teaching environment to serve all learners
• Provide regular and timely evaluation feedback to students
• Maintain student attendance records
• Submit mid-term and final grades
• Participate in institutional effectiveness initiatives including assessment and evaluation
• Demonstrate professionalism with faculty, administration, staff and students
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications

Required: Master's degree in the chosen discipline, or a master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in the concentration.

Preferred: Higher education teaching experience. Experience with the Canvas learning management platform.

Pay

$675 per credit hour taught
