About the role

Independence Community College seeks a full-time faculty member to teach courses in the chosen discipline or a related field with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses using the Canvas learning management platform.
  • Develop and maintain curriculum materials.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of subject matter and pedagogical techniques.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in the chosen discipline, or a master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate credits in the concentration.
  • Higher education teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the Canvas learning management platform.

Skills

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Benefits

  • Commensurate with experience.

Pay

$675 per credit hour taught

Schedule

Variates based on course load and departmental needs.
