Adjunct Instructor, Philosophy, UC Blue Ash College
About the role
The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College History, Philosophy, Political Science Department invites applications for its Philosophy Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned undergraduate courses.
- Use best practices to continually evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Philosophy.
- At least one (1) year of teaching experience.
- Previous teaching experience in a college setting.
- Experience teaching medical and/or business ethics (considered).
Qualifications
- Considered: Previous teaching experience in a college setting.

Skills
- Ability to use Canvas and any textbook-specific systems.
- Ability to hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner.
- Participation in at least one professional development workshop per year.
