Adjunct - Instructor of CAD

About the role

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 2D & 3D software, along with the ability to instruct students in drafting standards, design principles, and real-world civil engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses using AutoCAD Civil 2D and 3D Drafting.
• Provide students with practical, industry-relevant instruction in civil design.
• Develop and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Support student learning through feedback, mentorship, and applied project work.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Provide high quality, engaging online instruction.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable and dedicated.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 2D & 3D software.
• Instruct students in drafting standards, design principles, and real-world civil engineering applications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in civil engineering or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
