About the role

The Master of Decision Analytics Weekend Program in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a pool of applicants on an ongoing basis for possible adjunct teaching positions. This cohort-based, accelerated master’s program is designed for working professionals. Qualified candidates will teach courses in R, Python, and Data Mining, with the possibility of other topics as needed. Positions will be filled only when funding and openings arise.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Decision Analytics, which may include all areas within the discipline.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • A M.S. degree or higher to teach graduate-level courses.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior teaching experience.

Pay

$1,500 per credit hour, $500 per session.
