About the role

The LIEOC at Farmingdale State College periodically seeks experienced instructors to teach allied health courses to adult learners. Current and upcoming program offerings include Pharmacy Technician and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on instruction to adult learners.
  • Engage students across varying skill levels and educational backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Necessary teaching certifications for the program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three or more years of teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching non-traditional learners.
  • Knowledge of Brightspace and Banner.

  • Desire to apply expertise in promoting civic engagement with the College's many community partners.
