About the Role
The Department of Keyboard Studies seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Specific courses may vary by semester based on departmental teaching needs. The anticipated need may include but is not limited to expertise in Sacred Music (MUSM). All instruction will take place on the UNT Denton campus.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned keyboard studies courses, including but not limited to Sacred Music (MUSM).
- Deliver instruction aligned with the standards of performance of the UNT Keyboard Studies program.
- Communicate effectively with students and faculty to exchange information.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in music or a closely related field.
- At least three years of professional experience.
- Prior college-level teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal degree in music or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching keyboard performance with reference to UNT Keyboard Studies program standards.
Physical Requirements
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
