Duties And Responsibilities
- Teach one to two courses per semester
- Teach in-person and hybrid modalities
- Examples of class schedules include meetings once per week during weekdays, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:10 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. - 9:25 p.m., or four meetings across two weekends, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., during the fall and spring semesters.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise and ability to teach in areas related to higher education
- Areas include, but are not limited to, law; finance; leadership; student affairs; intercollegiate athletics; organization and governance; history of higher education; and qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methodologies
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Earned doctorate in higher education or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year teaching at the college level
- Demonstrated record of teaching excellence
- Experience with learning management systems such as Blackboard and Canvas
Benefits
- Salary range: Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree
