Adjunct Instructor - ECE

Position Summary

The Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks qualified Adjunct Professors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering course lectures
• Developing and maintaining course materials
• Absessing student performance
• Holding office hours as appropriate
• Supporting student learning in accordance with department and university policies

Teaching Areas

• Photonics
• Nano and Quantum Materials and Devices (PNMD)
• Communications, Signal Processing and Machine Intelligence (CSM)
• Computer Systems and Networking (CSNW)
• Energy, Power Systems, and Sustainability (EPSS)
• Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and Data Engineering (RID)

Essential Functions

• Develop and deliver lectures
• Prepare and grade assignments
• Design laboratory experiments (if needed), and examination of student learning
• Learn and use online course management system - Canvas
• Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester

Pre-Requisite Qualifications

M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

Compensation

$2668 per contact hour
