Position Summary
The Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks qualified Adjunct Professors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and delivering course lectures
- Developing and maintaining course materials
- Absessing student performance
- Holding office hours as appropriate
- Supporting student learning in accordance with department and university policies
Teaching Areas
- Photonics
- Nano and Quantum Materials and Devices (PNMD)
- Communications, Signal Processing and Machine Intelligence (CSM)
- Computer Systems and Networking (CSNW)
- Energy, Power Systems, and Sustainability (EPSS)
- Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and Data Engineering (RID)
Essential Functions
- Develop and deliver lectures
- Prepare and grade assignments
- Design laboratory experiments (if needed), and examination of student learning
- Learn and use online course management system - Canvas
- Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester
Pre-Requisite Qualifications
M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
Compensation
$2668 per contact hour
