Adjunct Instructor, Dental Hygienist, UC Blue Ash College

About the role

The Allied Health Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for its Dental Hygienist Adjunct Faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed.)

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate courses.
• Evaluate student coursework using best practices.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
• Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
• Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field.
• Current Registered Dental Hygienist with active license in the State of Ohio.
• Local Anesthesia license in the State of Ohio is required.
• At least one year experience in a clinical dental hygiene environment.
• Previous clinical teaching experience in a dental hygiene program will be considered.
• Experience with the Eaglesoft dental software program is preferred.

Qualifications

Additional qualifications considered but not required: previous clinical teaching experience in a dental hygiene program and experience with the Eaglesoft dental software program.
