About the role

The Nursing Department at UC Blue Ash College invites applicants for its Medical/Surgical Nursing Adjunct Clinical faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate clinical, lab, and simulation coursework.
• Use best practices to continually evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
• Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
• Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.

Requirements

• A BSN or higher from an approved registered nursing education program.
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.
• At least two (2) years of bedside experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
• At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a college setting, preferred.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Nursing, preferred.
