Adjunct, Nursing Clinical Instructor

Rivier University invites ongoing applications for the position of Clinical Undergraduate Level - Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing and Health Professions, the Assistant Professor for Undergraduate Education, the Clinical Undergraduate Level - Adjunct Faculty instructor is responsible for providing instruction and support to the Undergraduate Nursing Program for the Nursing and Health Professions Division at Rivier University.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Possess a keen interest and enthusiasm for engaging, teaching, and mentoring student teaching modalities at the undergraduate level.
• Must possess strong clinical skills and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in one or more of the following areas: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, or Community Health Nursing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both in the department and throughout the University community.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Nursing or enrolled in a graduate nursing program or BSN with two years experience in the nursing specialty.
• Doctoral preparation preferred, or in progress.
• Academic teaching experience preferred.
• Unencumbered NH RN license (or eligibility for licensure in NH).
• Unencumbered Massachusetts RN license (or eligibility for licensure in MA).
• Demonstrated ability in and commitment to teaching excellence in a broad range of undergraduate clinical and didactic courses, and
• Desire to mentor undergraduate students in their course work and career goals.
