About the role
The successful candidate will teach one or more in-person undergraduate Criminal Justice courses, including: Crime Scene Investigation (Forensic Science)
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned undergraduate Criminal Justice courses.
- Prepare and deliver course content consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
- Assess student learning and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Hold appropriate office hours and communicate effectively with students.
- Submit grades and course-related materials in accordance with university policies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Forensic Science, Public Administration, Sociology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in criminal investigations, forensic science, crime scene investigation, law enforcement, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level teaching experience.
- Professional experience in law enforcement, criminal investigations, forensic science, crime scene processing, corrections, or related criminal justice fields.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
