About the role
The Arts & Design department is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Audio Production for Music Majors during the Spring 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
- Teach MUSC 170 Audio Production for Musicians, covering:
- Music production techniques and technology
- Fundamental recording and editing techniques
- Music notation software
- File preparation, handling, and storage (clouds/external drives)
- MIDI usage and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) management
- Multimedia applications for composition, songwriting, and multimedia projects
The course meets on Mondays from 9:00 AM – 12:50 PM at RVCC’s main campus in Branchburg, New Jersey.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Prior teaching experience
Pay
Hourly salary range: $1,143.00 – $1,174.00 per course.
