About the role
The Media Communications & Technology Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for its Applied Media Communications Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part-time basis.
- Prepare weekly course modules and related instructional media.
- Evaluate student coursework and provide timely feedback.
- Support student learning and department goals.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical media field such as video production, web development, media design, photography, animation, audio, or a related discipline.
- At least two (2) years of professional media production experience.
- At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a college setting is preferred.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a media discipline or related field.
- Experience teaching or working in multiple areas of applied media.
Skills
Use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems.
Hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner.
Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.

Pay
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Schedule
Courses may be offered in person (day or evening) or asynchronously online.
