Seton Hall University’s College of Human Development, Culture, and Media is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach on-campus courses in the Art and Design program. Located in South Orange, New Jersey—just 14 miles from New York City—Seton Hall is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the U.S., serving approximately 6,300 undergraduate and 4,700 graduate students from all 50 states and over 60 countries. About the role

  • Teach up to two courses per semester
  • Each class meets once a week for 2.5 hours

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas: animation, 3D computer graphics, and game design

Requirements

  • Earned graduate degree in visual art or design
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience at the college level
  • Expertise in animation, 3D computer graphics, or game design

Qualifications

  • Earned terminal degree in visual art or design (preferred)

Pay

  • $1,200 per credit for instructors without a terminal degree
  • $1,300 per credit for instructors with a terminal degree
