Adjunct Imaging Instructor - CT & MRI (Pooled Position, Central Campus)
About the role
The Adjunct CT/MRI Instructor will teach advanced medical imaging courses, focusing on CT and MRI principles, safety, and clinical practice. The position requires a strong background in radiography, advanced certification in CT and/or MRI, and at least 2-3 years of recent clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction in CT and MRI principles, safety, and clinical practice.
- Support student learning through effective communication, organizational, and teaching skills.
- Ensure compliance with imaging protocols, equipment safety standards, and patient care workflows.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- Advanced certification in CT and/or MRI.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical experience in CT and/or MRI.
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, equipment, safety standards, and patient care workflows.
- Effective communication, organizational, and teaching skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Experience teaching medical imaging at the collegiate level.
- Knowledge of current imaging technologies and their applications.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using medical imaging software and equipment.
