Magnetic Resonance Imaging Adjunct Instructor
Job Duties
- Participates in curriculum development and the review and maintenance of course objectives and syllabi.
- Prepares medical imaging content by utilizing a variety of teaching strategies to deliver the course content.
- Engage in assessing student learning and advising students.
- Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of the course content.
- Actively engage students through frequent interaction and convey a genuine enthusiasm for their learning.
- Provide thorough and constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics to effectively assess learners’ work, while also acknowledging learner accomplishments.
- Effectively prepare medical imaging students for licensure examinations.
- Continue professional development in scholarship, teaching, and continuing education.
Qualifications
- In lieu of bachelor’s degree, 5 years of relevant experience plus an associate’s degree will be considered as equivalency to a bachelor’s degree.
- In lieu of an associate's degree, 8 years of relevant experience plus a certificate from a specialty training program-radiology technology will be considered as equivalency to an associate’s degree.
- Certifications: American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) Specialty Registry in at least one of the following: ARRIT M, ARRIT CT, ARRIT MRI, ARRIT CV or VI or CI, ARRIT S, ARRIT VS; American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Specialty Registry in at least one of the following: ABD, OB/GYN; Specialty Registry in the following: RVT; Specialty Registry in the following: RDCS.
Education
- Graduate from Specialty Training Program- (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree- (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year-Education (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Preferred)
