Adjunct Geomatics Instructor (CET)

Responsibilities

• Teach specific courses to students in Geomatics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Civil Engineering, Applied Science or related field.
• 5‑7 years progressive documented experience in applied science/Geomatics in a professional setting.
• Three years prior instructional experience in higher education preferred.
• Familiarization with learning management system mechanics is helpful.
• Functional understanding of GIS concepts, principles, and methodologies; ability to communicate this information effectively to students.
• Experience using Esri‑based GIS software and related GIS applications.
• Knowledge of how to acquire all types of GIS data and perform basic data manipulations and analyses.
• Basic skills to effectively present spatial information in digital and printed format.

Anticipated Work Hours: Varies; dependent on class schedule.

Classification: UZ01 – Part time temporary.
