Adjunct Faculty - Veterinary Technology

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses in line with the Faculty Workload Policy, ensuring teaching strategies align with the Baker College Learning Model.
• Creatively integrate learning technologies and platforms to help students meet their academic goals.
• Refine, update, or design curriculum as needed to stay current and effective.
• Participate in ongoing Professional Development training.
• Gather and submit essential student learning assessments, providing thoughtful, constructive feedback to guide student progress.
• Participate in the Faculty Growth and Evaluation Process.
• Engage in key committees, subcommittees, projects, and other activities that contribute to the academic community.
• Support the student-first philosophy and contribute to the overall success of Baker College.
• Act as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.
• Establish robust external relationships to bolster Baker College's vision and mission.

Requirements

• Master's degree with LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) Credential.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is strongly preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and internet usage.
