About the role
Roles Northwood University seeks a dynamic individual with a strong record of teaching at the undergraduate level, industry experience, and strong interpersonal skills to teach at the Midland, Michigan campus. The candidate would be expected to teach some daytime classes with the possibility of teaching either day or evening classes in the future.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in disciplines such as Accounting, Automotive Marketing and Management, Automotive Aftermarket Management, Business Law, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Science, Finance, Health Care Management, Hospitality Management, History, Humanities, International Business Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Marketing Communications, Merchandising & Marketing, Mathematics, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Political Science, Speech, Sport Management & Esports Management, Sustainability Management.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution or a Master's degree in a closely-related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in specific discipline.
- Experience teaching undergraduate courses in discipline or closely related disciplines, especially for business-related disciplines, industry experience closely related to the discipline.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide and diverse range of students and colleagues.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills in a variety of delivery formats.
