About the Role
The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses in both residential (on-campus) and executive (online) programs. Rank is open and will align with qualifications and experience.

Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience:
- A master’s or doctoral degree in health policy and management, business, public health, public policy, law (i.e., Juris Doctorate), public administration, government, social work, nursing, medicine, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Experience in health policy and/or management in diverse settings, including health care systems, provider organizations, consulting firms, not-for-profit organizations, government, or universities.
- Experience teaching students with varying levels of academic preparation (undergraduate through doctoral).
- Demonstrated interest in teaching methods that emphasize active student engagement and interaction.
- Experience defining and evaluating competency achievement.
- Comfort with technology for teaching and learning enhancements.
- Experience overseeing projects, including practicums and capstone projects, in diverse settings.
- Experience and interest in advising and mentoring.
