Adjunct Faculty - School of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Attend adjunct faculty orientation session
• Meet with course coordinator to determine clinical or laboratory needs and for individual mentoring
• Model and communicate the Christian experience to students and demonstrate active membership in a Christian fellowship
• Facilitate engaging individual and group instructional activities
• Respond to student questions and concerns in a professional manner
• Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the education process
• Apply sufficient, consistent rigor in grading students, providing substantive feedback and critical evaluation within one week of the due date for the assignment
• Aid students in achieving course objectives and learning outcomes
• Schedule review of clinical instructor evaluations with course coordinator
