About the role
The Department of Nursing at Rowan University invites applications for adjunct faculty teaching positions in Nursing for both undergraduate and graduate courses. The ideal candidate must be committed to excellence in teaching and possess at least a Master’s Degree along with relevant clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses as assigned.
- Develop and maintain course materials and syllabi.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing education trends and best practices.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience in nursing.
- Ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Experience in higher education teaching.

Pay
The University provides a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
Schedule
Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
