Adjunct Faculty PT - Criminal Justice

Primary Responsibilities

Create courses to meet learning outcomes and promote student engagement.

Foster a learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and problem-solving.

Use various assessments to evaluate student progress and learning.

Support students in achieving their academic, personal, and career goals.

Model respect and confidence in all students.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic and professional communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or J.D.
• Knowledge of Blackboard Learning Management System, preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of staff and students.
• Experience working with a diverse, multilingual student population.
• A commitment to the open access mission of the community college.
