McMurry University invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to build a pool of qualified candidates for part-time, temporary teaching assignments across academic programs. Appointments are made on a course-by-course basis, dependent on departmental needs, enrollment, and funding. Adjunct faculty deliver high-quality instruction and support student success in undergraduate and/or graduate courses, available in-person, online, or hybrid formats.

Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in alignment with approved curriculum and learning outcomes
- Prepare course materials, syllabi, and instructional content
- Engage students through effective teaching strategies and timely communication
- Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and course activities
- Adhere to university policies and academic standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a related field (minimum 18 graduate hours in the discipline)
- Relevant professional or teaching experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior college-level teaching experience
- Experience with online or hybrid instruction
- Terminal degree in the discipline (where applicable)
