About the role

The Physical Sciences Department seeks an Adjunct to teach lecture and laboratory sections in general physics (both algebra-based and calculus-based).

Requirements

• Master’s degree (required).
• One year of practical experience (required).
• Commitment to teaching excellence and knowledge of effective pedagogy, assessment techniques, and current research in science education.
• Familiarity with community-college goals and demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse, multicultural student body.
• Master’s degree in physics and one year of teaching experience at the secondary or undergraduate level (strongly preferred).

Pay

$93.84 per hour. No benefits.
