Adjunct Faculty Part-Time - HVAC

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create courses to meet learning outcomes and promote active student participation.
• Foster a learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and problem-solving.
• Use a variety of assessments to evaluate student learning and course effectiveness.
• Support students in achieving their academic, personal, and career goals.
• Lead and collaborate within and across academic and professional communities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• AAS in HVACR with at least five years of HVACR field experience and CMHE certification, or AAS in HVACR with at least five years of HVACR field experience and CMHE certification in progress.
• Five years of current and relevant experience as an HVAC Instructor.
• Experience with Brightspace Learning Management System preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience working with a diverse, multilingual student population desired.

PAY

The salary range is from $800 to $943 per contact hour, based on education level: master's degree @ $800, master's degree +30 @ $837, PhD @ $943.
