Adjunct Faculty - Nursing Clinical Instructors
Position Purpose
Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and learning. Adjunct faculty are qualified part-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing.
Essential Job Functions
The School of Nursing at Aurora University invites applicants for clinical adjunct appointments in the following disciplines:
- Fundamentals
- MEDICAL-SURGICAL
- OBSTETRICS
- PEDIATRICS
- Psychiatric / Mental Health
Teaching Responsibilities: The position involves the supervision of students in clinical practice at clinical sites as well as the simulation lab. Clinical assignments may include weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends and are located throughout the Chicagoland area.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications must align to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and current Illinois RN license required.
- Background and clinical experience in respective discipline(s).
Skills
The salary is $55 per clock hour worked. This compensation is subject to change at the sole discretion of the university, based on institutional needs.
