Adjunct Faculty - MIS 630 ONL-Z

About the role

Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking skilled and experienced adjunct faculty members to teach online graduate-level courses. This is a part-time position with opportunities to teach multiple sections and/or courses in subsequent terms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain course materials and syllabus
• Teach assigned classes
• Grade and provide appropriate feedback to students
• Hold office hours online
• Perform course assessment

Requirements

• Master’s degree (required) or Ph.D. (preferred) in a related field
• Previous teaching experience in the subject area
• Previous online teaching experience (strongly preferred)

Pay

• 8–16 students: $8,025
• 17–25 students: $9,150
• 26–50 students: $10,300

Compensation is based on a rate of $1,000 per student, with final salary determined by departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials.
