Adjunct Faculty, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology (MRIT) - FA26

College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty to teach Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology. Faculty are committed to facilitating and supporting student success in a multicultural environment, meeting the individual educational needs of a diverse student body.

About the Role

Adjunct faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction in Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technology courses.
• Teach in diverse settings: classroom, lab, clinical, or online/hybrid environments.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Submit required instructional paperwork accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science or equivalent in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Two years of full-time experience (or equivalent) as a magnetic resonance imaging technologist.
• Current ARRT certification or equivalent.
• Current IEMA licensure as required.
• Access to personal technology and a home computer capable of supporting online instruction.
• Ability to teach remotely using technology; prior online or virtual teaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with students in a clinical setting or prior teaching experience is preferred.

A pre-employment background check is required. Positions are compensated via stipends for course assignments.
