Adjunct Faculty- Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education

About the role

Provide online, classroom, and lab instruction in competencies for Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IEC) students, promoting early childhood development in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide IEC instruction online, in the classroom, and in laboratory settings.
• Ensure IEC course objectives are met and documented, including observation hours.
• Demonstrate current knowledge required by the curriculum through in-person or virtual lectures weekly.
• Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration to IEC students in group settings, both in-person and online.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide education, evaluation, and supervision to students.
• Complete required professional development training for adjunct faculty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE) or Elementary Education OR
• Associate degree or higher in an education discipline and 5 years of demonstrated early childhood education work experience.

Qualifications

Preferred: Master’s degree or higher in any area with at least 18 graduate hours in an interdisciplinary early childhood education-related discipline.
