About the Role

Endicott College’s School of Social Sciences, Communication, and Humanities is seeking an instructor to teach the following in-person course during the Fall 2026 semester (September 1 – December 18, 2026):

  • HST 104-01 US History II (Tuesday/Thursday, 12:30 PM)

All courses are taught in person on Endicott’s seaside campus, located approximately 20 miles north of Boston. Free parking is available, and the campus is accessible via the Newburyport/Rockport commuter rail line.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the course in person during assigned time blocks (3 hours per week, either in a Monday/Wednesday/Friday 50-minute format or a Tuesday/Thursday 75-minute format).
  • Adhere to Endicott’s academic policies as outlined in the College’s faculty handbook.
  • Follow the course description and honor the established learning outcomes.
  • Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
  • Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
  • Communicate with the dean or other administrators regarding any issues related to course instruction.
  • Hold office hours or meetings with students who request assistance or clarification on course-related matters.
  • Provide samples of student work for assessment purposes when requested.
  • Use Endicott email for all communications with students outside of class.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree is required.
  • College-level teaching experience is preferred.

Pay

Compensation for this position ranges from $1,100 to $4,700 per 3-credit course, determined by course enrollment. This range reflects base pay only and does not include additional compensation or benefits.
