Adjunct Faculty - Forklift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and conducts training sessions ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Affirms trainee's skills and certifies qualified operators.
• Maintains accurate training records.
• Fosters a safety-focused learning environment.

Requirements

• Current Forklift Training Certification
• At least one (1) year of warehouse or related experience.
• Ability to learn and utilize technology in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including students, administrators, instructors, external agencies, business leaders, and the public.

Pay

$50 per hour

Schedule

Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.

Location

Adjunct Faculty may teach at Dixon Correctional Institute, Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women, East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, West Baton Rouge Parish Prison, Louisiana State Police Pointe Coupee Parish Detention Center, and other correctional facilities.
