Duties/Responsibilities
- Teach courses as assigned by the Department Chair.
- Develop and deliver course lectures and instructional materials consistent with the approved course description and learning objectives for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Design and administer appropriate assessments for students.
- Submit grades in accordance with University Deadlines and Policies.
- Adhere to University guidelines for course syllabi and learning management systems.
- Hold regular office hours and provide academic support to enrolled students.
- Manage and coordinate with Teaching Assistant(s), if assigned.
- Coordinate, as needed, with the NREN Department Chair and NREN program faculty to ensure curricular alignment.
- Adhere to all University policies and procedures.
Requirements
- M.S. Degree and demonstrated expertise in appropriate discipline as it relates to coursework being taught.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level or demonstrated potential for effective teaching.
- Ph.D. in appropriate discipline as it relates to coursework being taught (preferred).
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with instructional technologies and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).

The University of New Hampshire offers competitive compensation and benefits. The pay range for this position is $6758 per course. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
