Adjunct Faculty - English as a Second Language AY25-26

About the Role

Governors State University's School of Extended Learning seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct (Part-time) Faculty candidates to teach courses in English as a Second Language. Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in TESOL/Applied Linguistics/Linguistics, OR
• Master's with a TESOL Certificate, OR
• Master's in a Related Field with a minimum three years of experience teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language for academic purposes in the U.S. or abroad

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the College/University Level
• Bi/multilingual ability
• Experience living abroad
• Experience teaching with technology

Pay

Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 – $3,000.00 per course.
