Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver instruction to students in the Dr. Pallavi Patel School of Health Sciences.
• Facilitate activities in the classroom and/or laboratory.
• Act as a liaison between students and the Faculty Course Coordinator, Program Director, and/or Chair.
• Provide and facilitate examinations.
• May include assigning grades consistent with course requirements.
• Teach or facilitate classes based on varied schedules to accommodate diverse student needs and to meet the expectations of the College.
• Follow the course curriculum as assigned.
• Prepare assignments as necessary.
• Evaluate student performance and learning as assigned.
• Maintain an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
• Adjuncts working in the laboratories may also engage in patient or healthcare professional role play, small group discussions, and skill facilitation.
