Adjunct Faculty – Doctor of Social Work (DSW)

About the role

The Doctor of Social Work (DSW) program at Long Island University is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach courses in its synchronous online program.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses using approved curriculum materials.
• Provides regular, timely, and substantive feedback to students.
• Supports student progress toward course objectives and learning outcomes.
• Maintains consistent engagement in a synchronous online environment.
• Collaborates effectively with program faculty and staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• A minimum of three years of post-MSW professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• A doctorate in social work or a related field.
• Prior college-level teaching experience.
