About the role
Serve as committee chair, or faculty advisor and/or second member of doctoral project study committees.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses using the CANVAS platform
- Interact with students through discussion boards open 24/7
- Respond to student questions within 48 hours
- Teach a minimum of 4 days per week
Requirements
- Earned master’s degree in nursing (MSN)
- Earned DNP (preferably in Nursing or closely related field)
- Nurse practitioner preferred
- Online teaching experience preferred
- Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students
- Excellent communication, team, and human-relations skills
- Evidence of current, active, & unrestricted RN licensure in one of the 50 states in the US required
Qualifications
- Teaching experience (DNP or MSN)
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
Benefits
- Graduate Course Instruction: $1,560 - $4,080 per Quarter or Semester, depending on type of course taught and length of course
- Undergraduate Course Instruction: $700 - $2,200 per quarter, depending on type of course taught and length of course
