Adjunct Faculty: Court Reporting

Position Description

Taft College is seeking adjunct instructors to join an outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality programs and services for students. Teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed (as specified in Education Code 8748.25).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment
• Any associate degree AND six years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment
• An Equivalency Determination may be submitted along with all application materials to be considered for this position if you do not meet the stated minimum qualifications.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience teaching Court Reporting courses
• Experience with Voice Writing software and equipment

COMPENSATION

$78.86-$92.66 per hour.
