About the Role
This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Construction Management Program within the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies. Classes will be in-person and online in the following disciplines: Wall & Roof Systems, Interior Finishes & Specialties, Field Engineering I, Project Scheduling, Mechanical Systems (online), Construction Documents & Show Drawings (online).
Schedule
Variable schedule based on course scheduling. Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with occasional evenings and weekends.
Appointment length: 12 months or less.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and fulfill complex instructional initiatives.
- Deliver in-person and online coursework in construction management disciplines.
- Maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility, and judgment.
- Collaborate with various constituencies and promote diverse populations.
- Exhibit teamwork, innovation, and excellence in teaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university preferred; other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted.
- Three or more years of evidenced commercial construction industry experience.
- Teaching experience in higher education preferred.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
