Adjunct Faculty - Clinical Skills Lab Instructor (CUSOM)

About the Role

This part-time position involves facilitating discussions with groups of 8-9 medical students during the Clinical Skills Lab. Instructors supervise students practicing history and physical examination skills, provide feedback, and assist in skill improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions with medical students in the Clinical Skills Lab.
• Supervise students practicing history and physical examination skills.
• Provide feedback and assistance to improve students' clinical skills.
• Oversee lab activities according to provided lesson plans.
• Complete student evaluations on assigned forms and timelines.
• Teach in the Simulation Lab and during Friday Morning Clinical Cases sessions.

This role requires teaching in the Clinical Skills Lab and/or Simulation Lab one or two afternoons per week.

Requirements

• Hold a DO or MD degree.
• Possess a valid North Carolina medical license.
