About the role
The Chemistry Department seeks an Adjunct faculty member to teach lecture and laboratory courses in General Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry for both science and non-science majors.
Responsibilities
- Lecture and laboratory instruction in General Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry courses
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Master's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- One year of teaching Chemistry at the college level
- Commitment to excellent teaching and the goals of a community college
- Strong desire to interact with a culturally diverse student body
Qualifications
- Preferred: Doctorate in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Plus: Familiarity with the use of technology in instruction
Pay
$93.84 per hour. No benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
