Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has a rich history dating back to 1902, offering a wide range of nursing education programs including baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees. Additional Preferred Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of completion or proof of CFA registration from the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA) Clinical Faculty Academy (CFA)
- Enrolled in an MSN Program OR 5+ years of RN experience with a letter of support from current manager
Role Purpose
Adjunct faculty members contribute to the college’s mission by supporting academic and regulatory standards through their roles in clinical settings, supplementing regular faculty positions. They are responsible for fulfilling and sustaining the duties and functions outlined by course leaders or program directors, under the guidance of Assistant Deans.
Responsibilities
Teaching in labs, simulation, orientation, clinical, and classroom settings, adjunct faculty members utilize technology to enhance student learning. They implement experiences and activities that align with safe, effective practitioner standards and complete and submit student assessments and evaluations according to college standards. Additionally, they are responsible for instructing, supervising, and evaluating student performance across various settings.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 2-5 years
- Licenses & Certifications: RN
Preferred Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: 5-10 years
- Licenses & Certifications: CFA from MHA Clinical Faculty Academy
