Adjunct Faculty

About the Role

The University of New Hampshire at Manchester's Department of Business and Communication Arts seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to join the Communication Arts program to teach undergraduate courses in areas such as social media, public relations, crisis communication, and digital media marketing, among others.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in social media, public relations, crisis communication, and digital media marketing, among others
• Apply theoretical and applied knowledge in areas of expertise
• Demonstrate teaching and classroom management skills
• Utilize Learning Management Systems such as Canvas to support student learning and instruction

Qualifications

• Minimum: Master's degree
• Preferred: University teaching experience
• Preferred: Experience teaching courses that meet in-person
• Preferred: Experience teaching courses using a synchronous online modality
• Preferred: Applied professional experience in areas of expertise

Position Details

• Begins with one course titled "Social Media for Organizations and Business" to be taught in-person in fall 2026
• Course meets one day each week for fifteen weeks at the UNH campus in Manchester, NH
• Each class session runs 2 hours and 50 minutes
• Future courses are assigned as needed and available

Compensation

• Pay Range: $4,000 per course
